PAR took in 169 cats and 102 dog in 2006 which was a 62% increase from 2005.

PAR  had over 200 animal adoptions in 2006!  

PAR  goes through roughly 175 pounds of kitty litter and 60 pounds of cat food each week.

PAR  currently has over 60 animals that are need of good homes.

WHO WE ARE

Paradise Animal Rescue, Inc. (PAR) is Lapeer County's first and only animal protection shelter registered with the Michigan department of Agriculture. Founded in 2002 By Tammy Walch, PAR is an all volunteer, non-profit organization. We qualify for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. That means that donations you make to PAR are deductible on your federal tax return.

Our Mission

Is to rescue abandoned, abused or unwanted animals and find them loving homes. To improve the quality of life of community animals by providing humane education, promoting birth-rate reduction programs. Reuniting lost pets with their families and supporting affirmative legislative action to aid in the prevention of animal suffering.

Paradise animal Rescue, Inc. is funded solely by private donations and does not receive local, state or federal funding.
