Why should you adopt? This is a question many people ask and these are just few of the reasons why we think you should... 

1. You'll save a life! Each year in this country, 8 to 10 million lost and unwanted dogs and cats enter animal shelters. 4 to 6 million of them will be euthanized. The number of euthanized animals could be reduced dramatically if more people adopted pets instead of buying them.  When you adopt from a shelter or rescue you'll help save the lives of two animals - the pet you adopt and a homeless animal somewhere who can be rescued because of space you helped free up by adopting! 25-30% of dogs for adoption in animal shelters are purebred. The other 70-75% are of course, lovable, wonderful, mixed-bred pets just waiting for a chance to be your new friend!

2. You'll get a healthy pet! Shelters and rescues are always full of healthy and happy animals. 

3. You'll save money! We cover most initial veterinary costs!
(Some vaccinations require animals to be at a certain age before receiving them. We cover all vaccinations if age appropriate before adopting.)

All pets in our rescue are also given medical treatment for any illness or injury, and socialized everyday with the staff and other animals.

on our face and give you unconditional love!

5. You won't be supporting puppy mills and pet stores. Unfortunately, a lot of people are not even aware that puppy
mills exist. When you buy a pet from a pet store, online or
other retail outlet, they are unwittingly supporting this cruel industry. By adopting instead of buying a pet, you can be
certain you aren't supporting cruel puppy mills with your money. Puppy mills will continue to operate until people stop purchasing their dogs. Animal cruelty is always behind puppy mills and pet stores so please... Adopt your next pet!

Adoption Fees

Unless otherwise noted, our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies (6 months and younger) & Small / Lap Dogs - $125
Medium / Large Dogs - $100
Senior Dogs (7 years and over) - $75

Kittens (6 months and younger) - $85
Adult/Young Cats - $65
Senior Cats (7 years and over) - $50
