Written by author and PAR volunteer Ben Logan. He’s a proud Lapeer resident, local business owner, and alongside his wife, cares for their sweet little “mini farm” of cats, chickens, and more. Animals are part of the family over there! The books available in our gift shop were generously given to benefit the animals of Paradise Animal Rescue, and we couldn’t be more grateful. It’s an absolutely adorable story, and the heart behind it makes it even sweeter. We are so thankful for Ben's kindness and support. 💛🐶 |
Downtown Lapeer Dog Walk Group

Rain or shine, every Sunday at 9AM meet us at TheDoghouse.Coffee (454 West Nepessing St) for a 45-min/1-mile walk around Downtown Lapeer! Whether you have your own pooch or just like hanging out with cool pooches, everyone is welcome to join this free group!
Meet some of the adoptable dogs at Paradise Animal Rescue and locals: share experiences, give lots of pets, get lots of kisses. Afterwards grab an amazing cup of coffee! Waivers are available to walk PAR's dogs. Some dates may be subject to change so stay up to date by joining our Facebook group! |

Bottle & Can DriveDon't let those empties go to waste! 🍾 PAR accepts returnable bottles and cans 24/7, 365. Simply drop them off at the front door. No appointment needed, just drop outside any time, any day and go. Cheers to helping animals in need! 🥂
