Paradise Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit funded by you. Your generous donations help assist our operation, located in Lapeer, MI, in the care and medical needs of abandoned dogs and cats as well as those who have lost their owners or prior homes for many reasons.
In 2024, PAR took in over 274 dogs & cats. Your donations provided the food, shelter, spay/neuter and other medical needs of all of these animals. Spay/Neuter is one of our primary costs, as we do not adopt out until that is completed, thus helping reduce the overpopulation in our community, as well as all areas we intake from. And of course, the additional expenses involved while these animals are in our care, including basic vaccinations, testing, preventative, training, enrichment, and all other needs - until they are ready for adoption!
In 2025, PAR has taken in over 350 dogs & cats but the need from the community is still ever growing. We assist in programs for education, spay/neuter, TNR, and work with multiple agencies and outreach programs in over 6 counties. As no single facility can do it all, it takes each of us working together, as well as support from the community to fund and continue all programs and assistance for these beloved pets.
Every dollar counts and adds up whether your bottle returns, a bag of dog/cat food, monthly donation, or the sponsor of a spay/neuter. The many fundraisers we hold from our rummage sales, to our monthly online raffles, 100% of those proceeds go directly to the cost of animal care.
Being a volunteer based organization, the majority of us also work within the community and are passionate to be a part of this organization. We are all doing our part and striving to ensure each animal’s needs are met. No dollar or donation ever goes to waste.
We thank you in advance for your donations and support as it allows us to save animals year round.
