Welcome! Founded in 2002, Paradise Animal Rescue, located in Columbiaville, MI, was established as Lapeer County’s first and only 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit, all volunteer, adoption guarantee animal protection shelter, registered with the MI Department of Agriculture.

Not every pet is lucky enough to have a loving home. Together, we can change that! Get involved today and help a rescue pet find their forever family! There are many ways you can make an important difference in the lives of animals!
  • Adopt  your next pet from an animal shelter or rescue.
  • Donate! PAR has saved hundreds of animals from abuse and neglect. With your support, we can continue to have hundreds more.
  • Volunteer! Lend a helping paw! Our homeless pets could use your help! Become a volunteer and join an amazing community of like-minded people!
  • Foster! Pets waiting for their forever families always need extra care. If you can help by fostering a pet in need we would love to have you in our foster program!
  • Get your family, your schools and even your church involved in collecting donations by participating in or holding your own fundraiser, or sponsoring a rescue pet in need!
